Teams (players and coaches) can stay at any Hotel, AIRBNB or other locations.
Teams are suggested to stay in Atlantic City or surrounding towns within 30-miles of Atlantic City.
SEEDING DETERMINATION AFTER 6 POOL PLAY GAMES:
- WIN – LOSS RECORD
- IF 2 or more teams have an identical record: The team that gave up the least amount of points in the 6 pool play games will be the higher seed.
- IF 2 or more teams have an identical record and gave up the same amount of points: The team that scored the most points in the 6 pool play games will be the higher seed.
TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR WILL HAVE FINAL SAY REGARDING ALL CHALLENGES OR ISSUES.
InPlays Sports Rules
National Federation of High School Basketball Rule Book will be followed except as noted below:
Score Keeping will be done by an InPlays Sports Employee (ISE) at the scorers table. The ISE will maintain and operate the scoreboard, maintain and keep count of personal and team fouls and the score throughout the game. The ISE will not maintain individual player statistics, such as points per player, shots, percentage points, etc.
Teams must be available to practice 5-10-minutes before scheduled game time. There is no grace period. Forfeits will result in a 15-0 score and the team forfeits a game(s) will not be permitted to play in the playoffs.
- 2 (TWO) 16-minute halves
- 3 (Three) Time-Outs per half; 2 Full (1-minute each) and 1 30-second.
(a team can not carry a time out from first half to second half) - Overtime will be 2-minutes. ONE TIME OUT PER TEAM
(a team can not carry a time out from 2nd half to overtime) - FIFTH FOUL on a player will result in a FOUL OUT (Players are also disqualified if they commit two technical fouls or one flagrant foul)
- 7 team fouls in a half will result in a 1 and 1 free throws.
- 10 team fouls in a half will result in 2 free throws
- Half Time will be three minutes
- A team must have five players, in uniform, on the floor to start the game, but may finish the game with less than five
- A team is allowed 3 (THREE) maximum coaches on the bench. Although there is no specific attire requirements, coaches are required to dress accordingly. Games are video recorded and will be disseminated to ALL college coaches and made available to television broadcast networks for future replay.
- Games may run ahead of schedule, teams will be required to start 15 minutes from the end of the previous game. Please have your team ready at least 30 minutes ahead of your scheduled start time.
- If the score goes above a 20-point differential, at any point in the game, the clock will be a RUNNING CLOCK which can only be stopped during a time out. The running clock will continue during free throws and other stoppage of play.
A Tournament official will be present at each game and will resolve all disputes as they occur. Decisions are final and not subject to appeal.
Games will be video recorded for the benefit of college coaches, swearing or inappropriate behavior of any type will result in the person or persons, including but not limited to a fan/spectator, parent, player and/or coach ejected from the facility immediately. There are NO WARNINGS. In the event of non-compliance as related to ejection, the game will be stopped, the police department will be called, and, if the inappropriate behavior is from a player or coach, the team involved in the inappropriate behavior will be ejected from the tournament. These rules are in place due to the video recording of games for the dissemination of all games to college coaches and the replay of games on television broadcast networks for future use.
Only scheduled team players are allowed on the court at any time during or between the games, including half time and/or time outs. Players or coaches receiving two technical fouls in a game will be ejected from the game and suspended for the next game as well. Technical foul: 2 shots and ball at mid court. Intentional foul: 2 shots and ball at the spot of the foul.
