Baseball Fields: Games are played at Stockton University, Atlantic Cape Community College and local high schools within a 30 mile radius of Atlantic City.

INPLAYS SPORTS NATIONALS are a week-long event…ALL TEAMS must be available to play from 8am thru 10pm. The schedule will be issued 7-days before the start of the tournament.

InPlays Sports Corp tournaments are NOT stay-to-play events; Teams can pick their preferred hotel of choice. Teams/Players are encouraged to stay in Atlantic City for convenience of travelling to baseball fields.

The DIVISIONS are based on the GRADE the player will be at the start of the upcoming school year.
Players & Teams can play UP a division. NEVER DOWN A DIVISION.

1. All games will be played 7-innings NO TIME LIMIT
   Extra innings will have NO TIME LIMIT. A winner must be determined for each game.
2. Mercy rule:    15 runs at anytime during a game
   Example: if the away team scores 15 runs in the top of the 1st inning the game is MERCY.
   Away team wins. Home team DOES NOT bat.
   This rule is in place to allow for ALL games to be played with no time restrictions.
3. All games played on 60 x 90 fields.
4. Schedule will list home & away team for pool play.
   Playoffs and Championship games – team with best record determines home or away.
5. Batting Line Up: 9 or more batters including full-team batting is permitted. If a player is injured and no reserve is available the bat position will be an automatic OUT.
6. Coach can call time-out 3 times per game to visit the pitcher. 2-time outs in an inning will require pitching change.
   At the 4th time out during the game and all subsequent time outs will require a pitching change.
   This rule is in place to allow for ALL games to be played with no time restrictions.
7. Substitute runner for a baserunner can only occur if the substitute runner is not in the batting lineup and the original baserunner will be taken out of the game for the remainder of the game.
   If a team does not have a substitute and the baserunner is injured and must be removed from the game the baserunner is called OUT at the time he is taken out of the game.
   A substitute baserunner is permitted to run at anytime and multiple times throughout the game, as long as the sub is not in the batting lineup.
8. BATS
   Varsity – Wood Bats Only (no restrictions)
   JV – Wood and Metal Bats allowed (no restrictions)
9. Games must start on time. Teams that are late are assessed 2 RUNS – opposing team will be given 2 runs at the start of the game.
   At 11-minutes the game is forfeited and the winning team is awarded a 7-0 win.
   This rule is in place to allow for ALL games to be played with no time restrictions.
10. In the situation of a physical altercation, any player who participates will be ejected and suspended for the following game and faces being eliminated from the tournament.
    If a team does not have enough players to continue or play future games due to ejections and suspensions, the team will forfeit game(s).
    If a player initiates a physical altercation, the player will be not be allowed to play any further games and will not be allowed to enter a facility in which games are played.
    In a scenario where a team with multiple players engage in a physical altercation, the team can be eliminated from the tournament and future tournaments.
